Conduct a public hearing and consider the application of Camelot Sports for a variance pursuant to Section 13-5 of the Sign Code to allow the use of an Electronic Video Screen in conjunction with a gateway sign, which may include variances to the provisions of the Sign Code relating to the height, size and design of a gateway sign. (This item was postponed at the September 19, 2011, City Council meeting.) 21. Conduct a public hearing and consider an ordinance for Application No. 1031-19- 2011, submitted by Camelot Sports, for a zoning change from Commercial with the Mesquite Arena/Rodeo Entertainment (MA/RE) Overlay to Planned Development – Commercial-Gateway with the MA/RE Overlay allowing a gateway sign on an undeveloped 6.53-acre tract located at 410 Rodeo Center Boulevard. (No opposition to the proposed amendment has been received. The Planning and Zoning Commission recommends approval of the application. This item was postponed at the April 4, 2011, May 16, 2011, September 6, 2011, and September 19, 2011, City Council meetings.)
