At this time a number of citizens not to exceed ten (10) shall be allowed to speak on any matter other than personnel matters, matters under litigation or matters concerning the purchase, exchange, lease or value of real property for a length of time not to exceed three (3) minutes on a first-come, first-served basis. No Council action or discussion is to be taken until such matter is placed on the Agenda and posted in accordance with law.
Conduct a public hearing and consider an ordinance for Application No. 1667-6-2012, submitted by Sophya Milas of Sophya's Assisted Living, for a zoning change from R-2A Single-Family Residential to R-2A Single-Family Residential with a Conditional Use Permit for a group home with eight residents on property located at 2621 Beeman Drive.
Conduct a public hearing and consider an ordinance for Application No. 1462-271-2012, submitted by Jack Petras of QuikTrip Corporation, for a zoning change from Industrial to Planned Development – Industrial allowing up to 36 fueling positions on an undeveloped 17.241-acre tract located at the southwest corner of South Town East Boulevard and Samuell Boulevard.
10. Consider appointment of one member to the Keep Mesquite Beautiful, Inc., Board of Directors for a term to expire December 31, 2012. 11. Consider appointment of one alternate member to the Board of Adjustment for a term to expire January 1, 2014, who will also serve as a regular member on the Automated Traffic Signal Enforcement Advisory Committee.
