A resolution amending Resolution No. 05-2013 by extending the deadline for completion of certain requirements of Section 2 of that Resolution to January 1, 2014, and affirming the City’s commitment to support the application of the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs’ low -income housing tax credit allocation to the Villas of Vanston Park Project located at 4540 Gus Thomasson Road, Mesquite, Dallas County, Texas, by making a firm commitment to a permanent loan for the acquisition and new construction of the proposed multifamily residential development for affordable housing. 9. A resolution authorizing the City Manager to finalize and execute an agreement to enter a Housing Assistance Payment Contract with Sphinx Development Corporation to be utilized at the Villa’s of Vanston Park.
Authorize the City Manager to execute a professional engineering services contract with Binkley & Barfield - C&P, Inc., for design and survey services for screening wall replacement, Phases 1, 2 and 3 in the amount of $67,500.00.
Conduct a public hearing and consider an ordinance for Zoning Text Amendment No . 2013-03 amending Section 4-900 of the Mesquite Zoning Ordinance thereby updating certain requirements of the Military Parkway-Scyene Corridor Overlay District. (The Planning and Zoning Commission recommends approval of the amendment.)
Consider appointment of one member to the Mesquite Quality of Life Corporation Board of Directors for a term to expire August 19, 2015. ADJOURNMENT
