Conduct a public hearing and consider an ordinance for Application No . 34-46A-2013, submitted by Kevin Stoelting representing UPS, for a zoning change from Commercial to Commercial with a Conditional Use Permit for trailer parking on property located at 2614 Big Town Boulevard. (No opposition to the proposed amendment has been received. The Planning and Zoning Commission recommends approval of the application with certain stipulations.)
Conduct a public hearing and consider an ordinance for Application No . 1095-54-2013, submitted by Austin W. Potts on behalf of Gander Mountain, for a zoning change from Commercial and Town East Retail and Restaurant Overlay District (TERRA) to Commercial and TERRA Overlay with a Conditional Use Permit for the sale of used firearms and a Conditional Use Permit for an indoor archery range on property located at 3775 Childress Avenue. (One letter in favor of the proposed amendment has been received. The Planning and Zoning Commission recommends approval of the application with certain stipulations.)
Conduct a public hearing and consider an ordinance for Application No . 1636-11A-2013, submitted by Mitch Lambeth of Transystems on behalf of Union Pacific Railroad, to amend Planned Development Ordinance No. 3844 allowing unmounted container storage and modifying certain other stipulations for an undeveloped 10.194-acre tract located at 1636 Big Town Boulevard. (No opposition to the proposed amendment has been received. One person appeared in favor of the proposed amendment before the Planning and Zoning Commission. The commission recommends approval of the application with certain stipulations.)
Conduct a public hearing to receive input from citizens regarding the proposed fiscal year 2013-14 budget.
An ordinance providing funds for the fiscal year 2013-2014 by adopting and approving the budget for said period and appropriating and setting aside the necessary funds out of the General and other revenues of the City of Mesquite for said fiscal year for the maintenance and operation of various departments and for various activities and improvements.
An ordinance ratifying the increase in property tax revenue reflected in the fiscal year 2013-14 budget. ADJOURNMENT
