(Staff recommends award to Wilkins Industries, Inc., in Morris, Minnesota, through BuyBoard Contract No. 425-13, sponsored by the Texas Local Government Purchasing Cooperative Contract, in the amount of $88,329.00.) 8 Approve Amendment No. 2 to the 2013-14 Police Seizure Budget in accordance with Title 28, Section 524 of the United States Code and Chapter 59 of the Texas Code of Criminal Procedure in the amount of $127,500.00.
Conduct a public hearing regarding the proposed 2014-15 ad valorem tax rate of $.64 per $100 valuation.
Conduct a public hearing and consider an ordinance for Application No. 1462-276-2014, submitted by Michael Klingl, for a rezoning from Commercial and Planned Development - Commercial to Commercial and Planned Development - Commercial with a Conditional Use Permit to allow Home Depot, located at 18855 Interstate Highway 635, to conduct truck rentals with outdoor storage and the display of trucks. (No opposition to the proposed amendment has been received. The Planning and Zoning Commission recommends approval of the application with certain stipulations. This item was postponed at the August 4, 2014, City Council meeting.)
Receive resignation from Jeann Wisenbaker as a member of the Mesquite Quality of Life Corporation Board of Directors.
