CITIZENS FORUM At this time a number of citizens not to exceed (10) shall be allowed to speak on any matter other than personnel matters, matters under litigation or matters concerning the purchase, exchange, lease or value of real property for a length of time not to exceed three (3) minutes on a first-come, first-served basis. No Council action or discussion is to be taken until such matter is placed on the Agenda and posted in accordance with law.
PRESENTATIONS Presentation of a plaque to James Coleman in recognition of his service as a member of the Mesquite Housing Board.
(All items on the Consent Agenda are routine items and may be approved with one motion; however, should any member of the City Council or any individual wish to discuss any item, said item may be removed from the Consent Agenda by motion of the City Council.) 6 Minutes of the regular City Council meeting held January 5, 2015. 7 A resolution ratifying the total expenditure of $90,385.95 without competitive bidding for the emergency repair to the fountain at the Police Building located at 777 North Galloway Avenue and authorizing payment to Irrigators Supply, Inc., for such repairs. 8 Bid No. 2015-037 - Annual Fiber Optic Cabling Repair and Maintenance. (Staff recommends award to Future Telecom, Inc., through Mesquite Independent School District Request for Proposal No. 2015-011, in the amount of $60,000.00.) 9 Receive semiannual report from the Capital Improvements Advisory Committee in accordance with Section 395.058(c)(4) of the Texas Local Government Code.
Receive resignation from Ron Ward as a member of the Mesquite Quality of Life Corporation, Inc., Board of Directors.
Consider appointment of one regular member to the Municipal Library Advisory Board for a term to expire December 4, 2016.
Consider appointment of an alternate member to the STAR Transit Board of Directors for a term to expire on January 21, 2019.
Consider appointment of one member to the Mesquite Industrial Development Corporation for a term to expire January 28, 2018. ADJOURNMENT
