EXECUTIVE SESSION – PERSONNEL MATTERS Pursuant to Section 551.074 of the Texas Government Code, the City Council will consider the appointment, evaluation, employment, reassignment, duties, discipline or dismissal of the City Manager, City Attorney, Municipal Court Judge, City Secretary, members of the various City boards and commissions, and City officers or other employees. A complete list of the members of the City boards and commissions is on file in the City Secretary’s office. The following subject may be discussed: · Discuss and deliberate the evaluation of the two City Attorney candidate finalists, Michelle D’Andrea and David Paschall, and the appointment, employment and duties of the City Attorney; and if a consensus of the City Council is reached, to select a candidate for commencement of negotiations and authorize the City Manager to negotiate the terms of the employment contract for the position of City Attorney. Following discussions in executive session, the City Council will reconvene in open session where any final action regarding this executive session item will be taken. (2) If a consensus of the City Council is reached, select a candidate for commencement of negotiations and authorize the City Manager to negotiate the terms of an employment contract for the position of City Attorney.
